I have a uk driving license and want to change it to a Spanish one however I can’t get an appointment in Palma I’m told I can drive until the end of December but what then.

I also have private health insurance but they will not provide the vaccine said I have to go to the PAC office but can’t register there as I am not in employment as I look after my dad

Find this situation frustrating

Please help thanks

Tell all your friends and family who voted for Brexit about the problems they have left us with.

Hi,

We live in Santa Ponsa and went to the PAC to get our jabs but were told they were not doing the jabs from there and gave us a phone number, to phone Son Duretta Hospital, to make an appointment and that is where we went for our jabs.

Our private health insurance did not cover Covid jabs either.  We have friends here who are resident and retired they signed on at their PAC in Andraxt and got their jabs there, including their boosters.  Seems their is no consistency, maybe go to the PAC and see what they say, if you haven't already.

We applied for our residency in October last year and it was declined, as they changed the rules in the meantime, so had to apply again, still waiting for them to be issued.

We also have to change our driving licences.  But

because our residency was declined and when we re-applied  that took us past the deadline of  December 31st  we may  have to take a Spanish Driving Test, the UK and Spanish Governments are still trying to come to an agreement on this one to avoid the tests.   If we had applied before Dec 31st we could have just changed them over without the test.

I check on the Gov.UK website regularly as rules are changing all the time.

Hope this helps.
