Ferry terminal

Hi, we are coming to majorca end May, staying 1 night and leaving for formentera for 3 nights, then returning to spend 5 nights in Palma Nova. 

Where is the best place to stay to be near the ferry terminal? Think ferry leaves at 8am and want to be close by. 

Also suggestions where to stay the last 5 nights. 

We prefer apartments or aparthotels, don't like all inclusive and don't want to travel too far. 

If anyone has any advice we would be grateful.
