We have a holiday booked in Cala ferrera in two weeks time. Is anything open? What are the rules now?

Just about none of the local shops are open. The Sumi supermarket is open, and also more shops in Cala d’or. Peaceful and heavenly. Photo Taken 9am this morning.

Hello- great photo!

Are local shops/bars etc planning on reopening for the rest of the summer season? Planning a trip for August.

Thanks
Simon

It doesn’t look there’ll be a huge amount open and not many of the hotels look like they are planning to open at the mo. There are some restaurants open in Cala d’or and the marina as well as some of the other towns. And the larger supermarkets are open. Don’t forget to bring some masks, they are a bit more particular here than England- you need them to go into shops and supermarkets.

Thanks. I’m aware of a few hotels that plan to reopen mid July onwards so hopefully this will see other places opening. Hopefully the ice creams shops such as Cala d’ice!

Yes will bring disposable masks!

I'll be keeping an eye on this topic. Jet2 just opened our flight booking for 2 weeks today. So looks like we're going on holiday. We're staying in Esmeralda Azul Gardens self catering, so as long as can get food and drinks from bars and restaurants, I'll be happy.
