Ski resort?

OK, so I'm going back around 30 plus years ago when I lived in Mallorca. I went on a trip around the island and was shown a ski jump that someone had built but I don't think it was opened. The slope and building were in place but the most obvious thing was missing, snow.

This has been bugging me for many years as to whether I'd dreamt seeing this place as nothing ever comes up on a net search. So, did it exsist?
