Good Morning,

We are a retired couple planning to have our holiday this year in Cala D'or, taking our car with us. We live on the peninsula and are travelling to the island aboard the Baleria ferry Eleanor Roosevelt from Denia. Reading the embarkation details provided for users of the ferry I note that car drivers stay in their vehicles while passengers are expected to leave the car and board the ship through a different facility. My wife, whilst not disabled, has limited mobility due to a permanent back problem and finds walking any distance a problem.

Can anyone advise whether there is an exception to Baleria's boarding protocol for the less able. Ideally it would be better for us if she was allowed to stay in the vehicle to board. I have posed this question to Balearia and have received only a non-commital response.

Thanks in advance - Geoff.
