Lost: Stolen electric scooters - 0 replies

Ian1970 Posted by Ian1970 in Lost and found in Puerto Pollensa on Mon Oct 24, 2022 6:43am

2 electric scooters were stolen from outside a bar in Puerto Pollenca on Saturday night.

One of them is grey but has a white rear mudguard and various parts in blue (as per the photo)

The 2nd one is the more common dark grey MI scooter but it has red handle grips and a red shopping bag hook attached to the handle bar stem both of which have been added from original, these would make it different from the majority of standard ones.
We are hoping that they may have been used by someone and abandoned somewhere.

If anyone spots them around town, please post back here with any information

Many thanks

Ian

Meeting new friends in Puerto Pollensa - 0 replies

Paul1963 Posted by Paul1963 in Find friends in Puerto Pollensa on Sun Oct 2, 2022 8:17pm

Hi everyone my name is Paul and over the last few years I’ve become a regular visitor to Puerto Pollensa and i plan to visit as often as the current visitor restrictions allow. I’m a keen cyclist and i find the whole island of Majorca just perfect for all disciplines of cycling and while I’m not the quickest i just enjoy getting out and cycling to beautiful villages and countryside of Majorca and i plan to base myself in Puerto Pollensa and while i have friends who also love cycling in Majorca i will be spending a bit of time on my own and was wondering if there were any ex-pats that are planning to do the same.

Airport Transfers with Bike Boxes - 1 replies

wingnutjenkins1986 Posted by wingnutjenkins1986 in Buses, trains and public transport in Puerto Pollensa on Wed Sep 28, 2022 6:07pm

Hi All

First time poster so please be kind if this has already been answered.

My Freind and I have just booked up again to come across for some sring training and cycling and wondered if there is an alternitive to the airport transfers that are advertised. We always self tour rather than going with a group as we like to be more in control of the pace and route etc which as much as this provides more freedom we do miss out on some of the perks.

For example last when we came across the transfers took well over 2 hours and cost a fair amount of money and we got to thinking if there was a local service which was a similar cost of £60.00 - £80 round trip which got us into our accomadation a bit sooner with less agrivation?

we looked into Rental cars as we both drive in spain regulary however the prices were rather steep.

I have looked into private transfers however these range from £150 to £200 just because of the bike boxes.

If this is the only options we will just have to bite the bullet, however if there was a more localised service that meant it was a more affordable or more efficient I would be greatful for the help.

I appriciate that might be a common question, but any help or nudges in the right direction would be really helpful.

Kind Regards

Matt
