Looking to live in Santanyi for min. 3 months – experience, advice & how to find an apartment?

Hello everyone, I’m a writer from Germany and I would like to come to Santanyi starting this September / maybe even August for a minimum of 3 months (maybe a year if I like it) to fully immerse in my creative business. 

I have a couple of questions, for example how do I find apartments for rent in the area?

And in terms of making a decision whether to stay over the winter or not, do you have any advise/ experience? Is it easy to decide (and find a place to stay for the winter) spontaneously once I’m there or will it be difficult? Are there shops / bars open during winter months?

what is your experience in Santanyi in general? I’d be beyond grateful for any kind of advice / personal experience.
