Just back in UK from a week in Cala Millor - 3 replies
Cala Millor is just opening up now. Allsun, Protur and Tui hotels are all getting going, but still a long way to go until normal service resumed.
When travelling out, you will need a Spanish QR Code on your mobile which is checked at PMI airport and identifies where you are staying and for how long. On the way back, despite the quarantine being lifted, you will need to complete a UK customs locator form within 48 hours of arriving back in UK. A lot of our fellow travellers were having to fill in the form at Gatwick, so were grumpy. A pdf can be downloaded onto your mobile and is checked at immigration with your passport.
The beaches and water are lovely, clear and warm. Plenty of bars and restaurants opening, although those still closed look grim and suffering from post Storm Gloria effects. Masks are required inside all premises, so take plenty or stay out in the sun.
Cala Millor beaches and facilities - 0 replies
Hello
I’m due to travel to Cala Millor on 1st August with my husband and two girls (5 and 2 years old). Please could someone tell us a bit about what it is like there at the moment? Are there restrictions on beach access? Are the usual cafes and facilities around the beach area open? How does it all feel at the moment?
Many thanks for your help. It’s an unsettling time planning a holiday in these circumstances and any information what it is like at the moment would be much appreciated.
