We are looking for a restaurant or hotel to celebrate New year's eve, in the manacor area - Porto cristo- cala bona etc, we have a camping car to sleep in so accomodation not a problem

Do we know of any charity shops that will take nearly new English language cook books to sell on?

I have looked on TIB site for direct bus from airport to Porto Cristo or even just to Manacor.

Are there any? Looking for early June.

We own an apt in a building of 3 floors, just 6 apts.

The terraces are not huge but big enough to sit and enjoy a meal.

We are on floor 3.; Second home .

A couple of years after purchase we noticed the edge of terrace begging to crumble and suffer weather damage 

After informing the comunitie it was arranged to repair damage to all terraces 

The problem now is the builder cut the alu railings to repair the crumbling edges, then used what I can only describe as angled tin and screws to hold our balcón railings to the floor...in 4 places, they move, the wind rattles them.

We today had builder and presedent to look, it seems builder has been paid " black"  he is saying his work is good 

We want a building inspector to look at the pathetic work....

Can someone point me in the direction of an official body who will look at this shoddy unsafe work please.

I am looking for a tiler. I live in Cales. Any recommendations?  I have about 25 sq meters to do.
