We live in mallorca, just my partner and her son, we are looking to move home to live by the sea. i would love to hear your comments as to what it is like to live in Cala d`or, we are particularly concerned as what live is like in winter, is it dead, really?

Please let us know what you think, we really appreciate hearing from you, many thanks!

Yes it is pretty much dead in winter but we absolutely love living here in the winter. There are a few spanish bars open and many more in Portopetro.  Depending on the age of your son, he may find it a little boring, but we made the move 10 years ago and love living here in Winter.

I don’t wish to be rude but what kind of things can you do in winter? I can see the beaches are fab to stroll on, been there today. And yes, Porto PEDRO has life. I can’t see myself living in cala d’or in winter if all the houses around me are empty. Or maybe I was in the wrong area of cala d’or. In general the whole area looks stunning.

Best, Werner
