All ports and airports closed for non essential travel. We are in lockdown here. Only one person allowed out in the car for food, meds or doctors. Hotels not opening, shops, (apart from supermarkets) bars, cafes, restaurants all shut. Police at supermarkets. We are not allowed out. This is for at least 2 weeks. I do not think your holiday will go ahead.
Sorry couldn't be better news

Gosh how long is a piece of string? We are still in harsh lockdown. Kids from today allowed out with one adult, no more than 3 kids for one hour under the age of 14.
Local news saying borders maybe opened for Spanish only but not for a couple of months. Everything still shut but to be honest I wouldn't worry about what's going on here, but will any flights for tourists be allowed to fly from the UK. Euroweekly our newspaper had informed us that only 50 per cent of the hotels may open but it for Spanish. They have probably written this year off. Personally I would do the same and on a personal level the lockdown here has been so harsh and severe I do not want any visitors from any country over here when their lockdown is really not a lockdown. I'm speaking from experience as my family are in the UK. 600 euro fines are being issued over here. Pairs are not allowed out together (unless for hospital) and we cannot have an hour exercise a day. I just want 2020 to be over.

Thanks for your reply let’s hope that piece of string isn’t to long for all of us to have some sort of normality back in our lives I have lost my uncle to this virus and just want it all to be ov

Yes, you and me both. I think normality is probably something you and me will never see again. It's just awful. I think that any movement of people will probably have strict health implications as the WHO states there will be no virus free passports. Here there isn't enough money to sustain the living population and to put in place measures to test tourists . I'm desperate to travel to the UK to see my family but have resigned myself to next year because of mine and my husbands illnesses. We are at high risk and therefore cautious. I can only relay to you what I know. It may not be palatable but it is honest
